President and CEO
Lee has been a part of electricity deregulation since it’s beginning in many states. Prior to forming Premier Power Solutions, LLC, Mr. McCracken held Executive Management positions with Strategic Energy, LLC, one of the nation’s leading retail electricity providers. As Vice President of Corporate Development, he was responsible for overseeing the development of the long-term strategic plan for this national retail electricity provider. This effort required an in-depth analysis of the retail electricity industry and it’s future. This experience provides him with the knowledge necessary to help customers navigate the complexities of the deregulated electricity marketplace. As Chief Financial Officer, Lee led the financial operations and financing efforts of the company. He developed credit support mechanisms that allowed the company to grow from $130 million in annual revenues in 2000 to over $1 billion in revenue in 2004. He was an integral part of the retail contracts committee that was responsible for the development of many of the provisions that appear in deregulated retail electricity contracts today. He also was responsible for negotiating the contractual agreements with some of the nation’s top wholesale electricity producers and marketers and he continues to maintain relationships with these entities today. These experiences provide him with the detailed knowledge of the contractual agreements necessary to negotiate the best contractual arrangements for Premier Power Solutions, LLC, customers.
Vice President of Sales
Dave joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in 2005. A lifelong resident of Beaver County, originally from West Aliquippa, he now resides in Hopewell Township with his family. Prior to joining Premier, he was employed at USAirways. His duties at Premier include working closely with business entities, churches, and local governments in Western PA to help them control and reduce their energy costs, as well as overseeing the sales operation for Premier Power Solutions. Dave, along with other Premier employees, has provided cost-saving energy contracts that have helped customers reduce their overall spend for electricity by millions of dollars per year. In his 18-year career at USAirways, Dave worked in various departments and spent the last eight years in the reservation facility located in Greentree, PA. Dave owned Ragona Travel Center, Inc., from 1995 to 2003. Ragona Travel was one of the most respected names in travel in Beaver and Allegheny Counties. As owner of the agency, he successfully managed all aspects of the business. Under his leadership, the agency was recognized by the Beaver Valley Star and received its Reader’s Choice Award for being the Best Travel Agency in Beaver County. Dave was also voted Vice-President of Plaza Merchants Association in Aliquippa. Serving in that capacity from 1998 to 2003, he helped improve the Aliquippa business district in the New Sheffield area and helped to organize events to improve the community.
VP of Sales & Business Development
Ryan has served as VP of Sales & Business Development for Premier Power Solutions, LLC, since September 2014. Prior to joining Premier Power Solutions, LLC, Ryan had a 9 year career at FirstEnergy Solutions serving in multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility. During his time at FirstEnergy Solutions, he led a team of seasoned energy professionals and managed a customer base of 56 billion kilowatt hours in annual load, which spanned across a footprint consisting of 27 services territories. His position at Premier Power Solutions, LLC includes overseeing the sales staff for the organization, and working closely with customers and other business partners to expand the business. Ryan’s focus is around creating valued solutions that enable Premier Power Solutions, LLC’s customers to successfully navigate through the complexities of the energy market. He works relentlessly to deliver concrete results that positively impact each customer’s bottom line.
Vice President of Sales Support & CS
Deana joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in February, 2007, as the Customer Service Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Sales Support and Customer Service in 2010. Her primary duties include interacting with the sales team and support staff within Premier Power, as well as working with customers to handle any customer service issues that may arise relating to their energy contracts. Relationships with members of state and local government are also established through her market research and analysis. Deana works with numerous industry suppliers, utility managers and analysts to secure energy service contracts and discuss industry specifics. Prior to joining PPS, Deana was employed as an Energy Analyst for Strategic Energy (SEL), in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (now Direct Energy). She was hired as an Administrative Assistant to SEL’s electricity group and then Promoted to an Energy Analyst to assist with their growing efforts. Her responsibilities at SEL included spreadsheet development and design, utility tariff rate analysis, statistical analysis and coordination of marketing and conference presentations. Deana was also responsible for coordinating the assembly, completion and general quality control of customer and marketing projects for SEL’s Electricity Group. She also had significant experience in dealing with utilities and other reporting agencies to acquire needed information such as various FERC filings, tariffs and regulatory and legislative research. Deana currently resides in Jackson Center, Pennsylvania with her husband and four children.
Kim joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC in August 2016 as Account Executive. Kim will incorporate her professional skills to provide reliable energy management to commercial/industrial customers and build long term relationships with the customers she serves. She also provides account management support for electric and gas sales in Ohio. Prior to Premier Power Solutions, Kim has almost 14 years of experience in the retail electric industry in varying capacities with FirstEnergy Solutions and The E Group. Her skills include energy consulting, utility bill payment project management with over $4 million annually in nationwide utility spend, training and leadership, energy efficiency, maintaining ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager, ENERGY STAR® Partner (The E Group won Partner of the Year for 3 consecutive years), documenting process and procedures, public speaking, managing energy data integrity and sales analyst support tasks. Kim also has extensive experience working with electric suppliers and utility companies to identify billing errors and obtain savings for customers. Kim also has worked in banking and healthcare fields.

Director of Natural Gas
Sue MacNeal is the Director of Natural Gas with Premier Power Solutions, LLC, (PPS). Sue has over 36 years of experience with the natural gas industry in Transportation, Gas Utilities, Rates, Tariffs, Analysis and Regulatory Affairs. Before assuming her present position with PPS, Sue worked for FirstEnergy Solutions for 16 years. For the last 2 years, her position was Advanced Business Analyst with FirstEnergy Solutions, Commodity Operations, Load & Forecasting. As an Advanced Business Analyst, she generated the weekly Committed customers load and revenue forecast, the PJM Capacity and MISO forecast. Prior to this position, she was with the E Group, a non-regulated, wholly owned subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. for 12 years as an Energy Advisor. Sue was responsible for researching, developing, and implementing procurement strategies for customers in the energy markets, along with analyzing and evaluating rates and tariffs. She was the Natural Gas Supply Side Manager for the Industrial customers. She advised her customers energy managers, buyers and directors in executing tactical and strategic objectives with their natural gas energy spend. Sue provided gas management services for the E Group customers which included: negotiating rates, tariff analysis, contracts, and transportation negotiations between her customers and local distribution companies. Sue maintained the monthly usage with bank tolerances, and provided monthly gas reports for the industrial customers. She was the Natural Gas Supply Side Manager for the Industrial customers, as well as eight other companies. Other duties were procurement assignments for all E Group customers in IL, IN, CT, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, NH, VT and Canada. She has also procured natural gas for customers in CA, GA, KS, MO, MI, NM, NE, TN, KY, VA, NC, SC, TX WV, and WY. She conducted electric request for proposals for her customers in PJM in DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA.; summarized the proposals and sent recommendations to her customers, and confirmed contracts. Before this position, Sue was the Services Analyst with the Major Account Services for FirstEnergy Trading. Her responsibilities included setting policies for retail gas commodity pricing, working closely with the risk pricing management desk, determining natural gas pricing for prospective customers to the gas sales specialist. Sue worked at Columbia Gas of Ohio for 20 years; in her last position with them she was responsible for approximately 1600 gas transportation accounts in Ohio’s northern region. Her background includes advising, monitoring and training Columbia Gas of Ohio personnel, customers and marketers in regard to gas transportation accounts and the tariff. In 2014, Sue received an “Employee Excellence Award” for outstanding performance from FirstEnergy Solutions President and Vice President. In June 2003, the Association of Energy Engineers certifies that Sue had completed the prescribed standards for certification, had demonstrated high level of competence and ethical fitness for energy procurement, and was granted the title of “CERTIFIED ENERGY PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONAL”, (CEP).
Senior Business Development Manager
Niki joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC in September 2014, as a Senior Business Development Manager. Niki is an industry expert with a reputation for working hard to understand and meet customers’ unique business needs. Her goal is to be a responsive, knowledgeable partner who can help customers navigate the complexity of the energy market, deliver savings and price certainty, and maximize energy efficiency by offering an objective perspective on the energy market. Niki views her business relationships as long-term partnerships that are built on trust and dependability. Niki’s experience includes working directly with end-use commercial and industrial customers. Prior to joining PPS, Niki worked at FirstEnergy Solutions.
Adam joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in June, 2016, as Operations Manager. His primary duties include modeling out electric and gas tariffs for PA, OH, and MD, serving as a backup account manager for natural gas, and compiling details for sales campaigns to be used by sales reps. Adam joins Premier Power after completing degrees in Accounting and Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies at Penn State Behrend in Erie, PA.
Karen joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in February, 2014 as an Account Executive. Her primary mission is to assess commercial clients’ business needs, analyze their energy usage, and help navigate them through the complex and competitive energy supply market. Karen comes to Premier with a diverse sales and marketing background, ranging from finance to transportation to real estate. She has worked in the energy business for the last three years. Karen received her bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College and grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida. She resides in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, with her husband and two children.
Senior Energy Consultant
John Kraemer, PE, CEM
John joined Premier Power Solutions as a Senior Energy Consultant in February 2019. John has extensive experience advising large power consumers on how to operate more efficiently and decrease energy costs. John’s goal is to work with large Commercial, Industrial and Governmental customers in the Pittsburgh area to secure optimal gas and electric supply contracts and utilize other energy management services to maximize savings. Prior to joining Premier, John spent 36 years with Duquesne Light on both the regulated utility (DLC) and unregulated EGS (DLE) sides of the business. John was on the start-up team of Duquesne Light Energy and spent ten years as a key contributor growing its annual revenue to $300M. It was during that time John began dealing with Premier and quickly recognized the integrity of its employees and the value they brought to their clients. While at the utility John worked on projects to serve the load growths associated with and the customer interconnections on the Downtown Pittsburgh network, North Shore and Robinson Mall areas. John spent the last few years in the regulated thermal business with NRG/Clearway Energy working on the new Uptown Plant project providing steam, chilled water and emergency power to a regional hospital and the City's eco-innovation district. He was the Director of Sales and Marketing responsible for all district energy sales in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg. John is a degreed Electrical Engineer, a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer (PE) and an Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager (CEM). As a 22 year member of BOMA Pittsburgh, he has developed relationships with many local property managers, building owners and contractors. John and his family reside in Plum Borough, PA.
Account Executive/Inside Sales
Tammy joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in September, 2012, as an Account Executive for Inside Sales. Her primary duties include providing energy savings information to potential customers who show an interest in PPS energy services, as well as managing her existing customers’ electric contract needs. She is also responsible for monitoring market trends and contacting local businesses to provide information to reduce their energy costs.
Mike has been with Premier Power Solutions since 2016. He lives in NW Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters. He has helped managed electricity and natural gas supply agreements as well as demand response programs. Prior to joining Premier Power Solutions, Mike was the Director of Purchasing at Meadville Forging Group which produces bearing and powertrain parts for the automotive industry. Mike works with clients to build trust through strong relationships. He knows the demands of purchasing professionals and assists them to secure the best energy management program for their individual organizations. With over 12 years of energy management experience, Mike is able to find the best solutions for any organization.
Candi Van Tuil
Candi has been working with Premier Power Solutions, LLC , since 2016. She lives in NW Pennsylvania after having attended school and starting her career in the Pittsburgh area. Candi has spent her entire career in customer service related positions and is therefore uniquely able to anticipate and meet her customers’ needs. This allows Candi to focus on her primary goals of assisting her new and existing clients navigate the energy market. She has been actively involved in procuring electricity and natural gas supply agreements as well as implementing demand response programs for clients that range in size from small churches to large manufacturing companies. Candi hopes to make the process smooth and painless as she helps clients meet their unique energy needs.
Jim has been with Premier Power Solutions since 2016. He lives in the greater Pittsburgh area and has worked his entire career in the metals manufacturing industry. He has managed electricity and natural gas supply agreements as well as demand response programs. Next to raw materials, energy costs typically are the second largest expense in most manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Premier Power Solutions, Jim was the Vice President of Operations at Meadville Forging Group which is one of the largest consumers of energy in Northwest Pennsylvania. Meadville Forging Group produces bearing and powertrain parts for the automotive industry. He has always managed to negotiate the most cost-effective energy agreements in this very completive environment. Now Jim is able to share his experience and knowledge to help all companies and organizations save money on their energy spend.
Sales Support Manager
Lori joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in September, 2006, as Customer Support Specialist. In February of 2010, she was promoted to Sales Support Manager. Her primary duties include supporting the president of the company with his current and potential customers. Prior to joining PPS, Lori worked as the Business Manager for D&L Systems Solutions, an IT company based in Grove City.
Laura joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in April, 2006, as an Account Executive and moved into the role of Account Manager in November, 2012. As Account Manager, her primary duties include working with PPS sales agents to maintain their existing customer base and obtain new business, as well as developing and implementing their sales plans for the year.
Wendy joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in March, 2010 as Administrative Assistant. She handles a variety of office-related duties including energy bill management. She was employed for eight years by McGill, Power, Bell & Co. of Grove City. Wendy and her husband reside in Clarks Mills.
Thomas W. Chapman
Tom joined Premier in 2005 and has been in the electricity deregulation industry since 2000, working in the Michigan, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas markets. Prior to joining Premier Power Solutions, LLC, Mr. Chapman was a Business Development Manager with Strategic Energy, LLC, one of the nation’s leading electricity providers. As Business Development Manager, he worked with colleges and universities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, federal, state, and municipal governments, along with water and sewage authorities. Mr. Chapman has also provided energy savings analysis for small and large commercial and industrial accounts, ranging from chemical plants to steel manufacturing facilities. In addition, he has advised retail/hospitality industry leaders including large box facilities and national food chains. These experiences provide him the knowledge to help negotiate the best contractual agreements for Premier Power Solutions, LLC customers.
Cliff joined Premier Power Solutions in May, 2010. During a 34-year career with Giant Eagle, he held various positions of responsibility in the areas of refrigeration & HVAC systems design, facility maintenance and energy management. As Corporate Energy Manager for the past 14 years, Cliff was responsible for the corporate energy program including the procurement of electric and natural gas in western PA, eastern OH and MD; implementation of demand response; procurement of renewable energy; budgeting of the $60M corporate energy line; auditing of utility bills; design of stores as it impacts energy; development, execution, measurement and verification of energy retrofit projects; and monitoring of energy management and power monitoring systems for 160 corporate supermarkets, 150 convenience store/fuel stations, as well as corporate office buildings and distribution centers.
Donald E. Golub Jr.
Donald joined Premier Power Solutions in June 2011 as an outside sales agent. His responsibilities are not only to bring new business to Premier Power Solutions, but to sell any of our many products, and in the process to educate those customers on the products we sell. During his 25 years of sales experience with KADD Consulting in which he owned, he was V.P. of Sales with Tele-Data Communications for many years. Premier Power Solutions will use their expertise to make the proper recommendations that are customized and in the best interest of your company. Matthew J. Szanca
Matt joined Premier Power Solutions in 2005. Prior to joining PPS, Matt was employed by the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh for 18 years, serving as Chief Engineer. His duties included the oversight of all of the mechanical areas of the facility and keeping the facility operating at top efficiency. He implemented an energy management system with cost savings projects involving lighting and steam generation. Matt has also spent over 20 years as a part or full time employee of Kennywood Park in West Mifflin as an Electrician/Mechanic. Matt holds a Chief Engineers and Registered Electricians license with the City of Pittsburgh. He is on the Pennsylvania Board of Directors of the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers where he also holds a commission as Chief Engineer and Examining Engineer.
Frank joined Premier Power Solutions in 2006. Prior to joining PPS, Frank was employed by Universal Rundle Corp. for twenty years, serving in various management positions, including V.P. International Business. Frank remains active in international business through his consulting firm established to address the capabilities of companies who wish to enter the growing import and export market. Frank’s background in management with a manufacturing company allows him the perspective of being on both sides of the fence so to speak. With this in mind, he is well aware of cost management and budgetary constraints as it applies to energy savings for our clients.
James F. Haas
James F. Haas is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania that has 42 years of experience working with large business leaders in both Pennsylvania and Ohio to help companies effectively minimize energy spend. Jim has worked with business owners, plant managers, and corporate executives. He has enjoyed titles that included Sales Engineer, Director Commercial/Industrial Marketing, and Manager of Economic Development. His geographic responsibilities primarily included Ohio Edison, and western and central Pennsylvania and utilities Penn Power, West Penn Power, and Penelec.
Kevin joined Premier Power Solutions, LLC, in April of 2010. His foremost responsibility is managing the company’s servers so that remote users can have access to and collaborate with the central office. Furthermore, Kevin manages the customer database that allows employees and agents to quickly and easily access customer information.
